How Orchestra Victoria Manages Musicians’ Scheduling with #DIESE

A new way to schedule and communicate

Orchestra Victoria now uses #DIESE to schedule and communicate with its musicians, technicians, and staff.

After a one-year remote project, the orchestra successfully implemented several advanced features designed for performing arts organizations.

A fully centralized season planning

Today, the entire season is managed in one place. The orchestra schedules nearly 40 projects in #DIESE.
Each project includes a custom record and cast list. In addition, every contact has a dedicated profile with personal details, work history, and artistic or administrative information.

Thanks to advanced planning tools, teams can create activities, assign venues, and schedule all participants. This includes musicians, technicians, and administrative staff.

Simplified payroll and contract management

#DIESE includes the COB module (Chorus–Orchestra–Ballet). This feature calculates payroll variables automatically based on contract rules.
Then, teams can update timesheets every two weeks and check calculations in real time.

At the same time, the contract management module allows Orchestra Victoria to handle all types of contracts. These include permanent staff, technicians, and more than 200 musicians.

Moreover, the system generates contract documents from templates and sends them directly for digital signature. As a result, administrative processes become faster and more reliable.

A dedicated portal for musicians

The MyDiese portal plays a key role in communication.
Musicians can access project details, cast information, and overall planning.

Most importantly, they can view their individual schedule in real time. Therefore, any update appears instantly in their personal space.

In addition, MyDiese allows the orchestra to share administrative documents, such as tax forms, as well as artistic materials.

A growing solution for orchestras worldwide

More and more orchestras now use #DIESE in Australia, Norway, Sweden, France, Switzerland, and the UK.
As a result, new features and integrations continue to evolve to meet their specific needs.
