A Ready-to-Lend Fleet of Instruments

The Paris Conservatoire of Music has started sharing its fleet of instruments through #DIESE.

The Conservatoire now makes its catalog of over 6,000 instruments available online. Students and professors can browse the collection and request loans for classes or productions.

A Complete Online Catalogue

The catalogue, available on the CNSMDP website, is organized into thematic collections: organs, pianos, harps, guitars, electronic instruments, and more. Each instrument includes a photo and detailed information, such as model, tuning, year of manufacture, quantity, and additional notes.

The CNSMDP team keeps the catalogue up to date as new instruments arrive and older ones become obsolete.

Full Management with #DIESE

Before launching the catalogue, CNSMDP configured #DIESE’s stock module for all types of material managed in the system, including lighting, video equipment, props, costumes, and even furniture.

#DIESE also allows staff to register loans, track return dates, and check available stock.

This configuration ensures that the system meets the Conservatoire’s specific needs for instruments.

This project demonstrates a smart and effective use of #DIESE’s stock module. Congratulations to the team!
