The year 2019 marked outstanding growth for DIESE, with a significant increase in users, expanded international presence, and new features for performing arts management and staff scheduling.

Strong international growth

In 2019, the number of organizations using DIESE grew from 24 to 42.

The software is now used in 10 countries, with new additions including:

  • Australia
  • Portugal
  • Wales
  • Italy

DIESE is also available in four languages: English, French, German, and Portuguese.

A solution for the entire performing arts sector

While opera houses and ballet companies have historically driven the development of DIESE, theatres have confirmed their growing importance—especially in France, Portugal, and Switzerland.

This trend highlights the relevance of DIESE for the broader performing arts and cultural sector.
