2021: Collaborate like never before

We welcome 2021 with a sigh of relief, but we must also take the lessons from 2020.

This year, we were impressed by our clients’ ability to collaborate. Working on any device, the SaaS DIESE was used like never before. As a result, we could support complex rescheduling, which became the new normal.

A stronger team to meet new needs

At IT4Culture, we worked harder than ever to adapt DIESE and respond to unprecedented requirements.
Consequently, the team grew, and new members joined to ensure high-level support for all clients.

New features and innovations

Our clients’ energy and needs inspired many projects. In 2020, we developed or improved several features:

  • Electronic signature with multiple partners
  • Booking of venues via a mobile-friendly portal
  • Grouping of productions in series (for subscriptions)
  • API extensions

New organizations join DIESE

Major musical institutions adopted DIESE:

  • Orchestras: Orchestra Victoria (Melbourne), Les Arts Florissants (Paris)
  • European operas: Den Norske Opera & Ballet (Oslo), Opéra de Monte-Carlo (Monaco), Opéra de Lausanne (Switzerland), Opéra National de Lorraine (Nancy), Angers-Nantes Opéra

Next, French-speaking theatres such as Les Deux Scènes (Besançon), Théâtre de Poche (Geneva), and Théâtre National de Bretagne (Rennes) joined DIESE.
Finally, the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York implemented the system thanks to a fully remote project.

Education and museums adopt DIESE

Two major music schools, Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne and Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, deployed DIESE on a large scale.
Additionally, museums confirmed their interest with launches at the Pinault Collection – Bourse de Commerce in Paris and the Palais de Tokyo.

Conviction and ambition for the future

The cultural sector faces major challenges, and the coming years will remain difficult.
However, we stay confident and ambitious. We want to keep progressing alongside our clients.

DIESE remains a tool, but we make it as powerful and useful as possible. This way, you can handle daily challenges efficiently, including complex situations like the Covid-19 crisis.

The team wishes you a very happy 2021.
